Synopsis

Dunjaluk is a term used in the Islamic religious (or philosophical) sense and means "this world".

The Dunjaluk dance show is about the situation of a young group of people on the streets of Belgrade.

About the role of each of us in the everyday world. About our own struggle in the system that was made for us, and that imposes its own rules and path. About global manipulation and resisting it.

The idea for making the play came from a personal reflection of life and some currently traveled path.

The famous Sarajevo band Zabranjeno fušenje says: ,, When the behari flourish, when Dunjaluk calms down "...

That's where the idea and the tailwind for something like this came from. I am very interested in showing through my own dance stamp (created by pure experience on the stage itself, and by collaborating with many choreographers and lecturers of contemporary dance) what it is like when the world around me calms down. What does that smell evoke, and where does it take us, and does it bring us someone new are some of the questions that this dance performance deals with.

Tell me, what does your Dunjaluk smell like?
