Katedrala Hall
Since the opening of the Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture, the former cinema hall has become one of the most important venues in Slovenia and the broader region. With its 932 standing capacity and 450 seating capacity, as well as its state-of-the-art technical equipment, the Katedrala Hall is one of the few venues which provides you with the feeling of proximity to the performer, regardless of your position in the hall. The largest hall at Kino Šiška has played host to the most prominent names on the Slovenian and international music scene, highlights of cinema, experimental workshops and theater and dance events. The hall is often rented by third-party concert and event organizers, as its flexibility makes it suitable for corporate and congress events. The venue is also popular with organisers of roundtable discussions and debates with an audience in the hundreds.
Kino Šiška has been the central Slovenian institution of the contemporary concert scene since 2009, complemented by activities in visual and performing arts, coproducing events with non-governmental organizations, local communities and other public institutions, etc. It is a coproducer and a beholder of CoFestival, the international festival of contemporary dance and Slovenian representor of the European Dance Network.
