Although founded in 1970 as The Experimental Theater Glej, Glej Theater moved into the venue at Gregorčičeva Street No. 3 in Ljubljana in 1983 after The State Publisihing Company (DZS) emptied their warehouse and donated the space to the next generation of young theater makers. The change of name came aproximately at the same time.
