The seventh KONDENZ festival took place at several locations in Belgrade, from October 21 to 26. Each year, KONDENZ presents a selection of the most recent works in the field of contemporary dance and performing arts by authors from Serbia and abroad. With a programmatic and production focus oriented toward experimentation and critique, KONDENZ offers audiences—and often works directly with them—new formats of festival production, artistic expression, and direct engagement in the fields of culture and society.
In 2014, the six-day festival program included eight performances from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Singapore, and the United States. The performances were held at the Magacin Cultural Center, the BITEF Theatre, and in public spaces in Savamala.
The program was be accompanied by an exhibition, a discussion, a workshop, and interventions in public space.
