Miniature (To)Gether explores the tensions between togetherness and individuality through the experience of young people navigating modern life in contemporary society. The work focuses on the internal conflicts that arise from our natural need to belong to a community while simultaneously feeling pressure to stand out and succeed as individuals—a defining characteristic of contemporary social structures.
This piece is an expression of the ambivalence of community and confrontation to the pressures of modern life: multitasking, uncertainty, and the need for support, while at the same time striving for authenticity and independence.
The miniature was performed as part of the competition program of the 28th Choreographic Miniatures Festival at the National Theatre in Belgrade, as well as during the Smiljana Mandukić Days at KC Magacin in 2024.
