LUMI is a performance poetry. You won’t hear a word and yet like every poem it will take you to places. You will flow through your own memories, sensations and bump on those feelings which one carries all the time but does not have a name for.
It’s that feeling where melancholy, calmness, longing and desiring-nothing-at-all are present at the same time.
LUMI takes you there. Well, LUMI took me there.
Warm recommendation.

Performer and author Marko Milić is researching how traumatic events shape our capability to observe the world around us. His performance LUMI serves as a catalysts to the tendency to superimpose our traumas on everything we see.
» It is hard enough for observers to bear witness to pain. Is it any wonder, then, that the traumatized individuals themselves cannot tolerate remembering it and that they often resort to using drugs, alcohol, or self-mutilation to block out their unbearable knowledge?«
