Karlovac Dance Festival (2011)
The Festival was launched by the Center for Dance and Performing Arts F.R.E.E. D.A.N.C.E., an association founded in 2004 focused on dance education, organization, and production of dance-performance projects. Based in Karlovac, the festival was initiated as a platform to foster the development of contemporary dance through collaboration, experience exchange, and knowledge sharing. By providing a space for artistic experimentation, the festival aimed to support the growth of dance as an art form and to engage with public spaces in innovative ways. Festival director is Melita Spahić Bezjak.
