Pokretnica is a collective and platform for contemporary dance and performing arts in Serbia, based in Novi Sad. They focus on education, inclusivity and the development of an independent dance scene.
Pokretnica offers several programs for different levels of experience and ages:
Pokretnica Trainings: Regular classes for people over 16 years old, held twice a week in the center of Novi Sad. The program is divided into two parts: Body Care and Dance Technique and Improvisation. Classes are led by a member of the Pokretnica collective, and the trainings are also adapted for beginners.
Free Workshops: The collective regularly organizes free, open workshops for the general public, with the aim of exploring movement and bodily sensations.
Pokretnica Festival: An annual festival of contemporary dance and performance that brings together local and international performers.
