Isidora Poledica is a dance artist from Belgrade. From an early age, she trained in classical ballet. Later, she explored jazz and modern dance, but found the greatest sense of freedom in contemporary dance, drawing inspiration from various club and street dance styles—particularly waacking and hip hop. Her artistic practice also encompasses circus arts and acting, as well as the integration of movement with improvisation and audience interaction.
She has continued her professional development through various dance schools and workshops led by numerous instructors, both in Serbia and abroad. She is active on the independent arts scene in Serbia and the wider region, where she has participated in numerous performances and artistic projects. She is especially interested in interdisciplinary approaches, the creation of hybrid forms, and exploring the limits of the body in relation to time and space.
Alongside her artistic work, she is engaged in teaching and choreography, leading workshops and classes in improvisation and contemporary dance while creating her own original works. She also works with children as a performer and co-author of interactive performances in which the audience becomes an active participant in the artistic process.
Isidora is the co-creator of the podcast From Body to Body (Iz tela za telo), dedicated to dancers’ health and lifestyle. Her interests include somatic practices, nutrition, recovery, and dance training. She also works as an Arabic language lecturer at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade and is involved in contemporary linguistics and literary translation.
