Gaussian curve is a name that relies on (in statistics and other sciences) the commonly used model of the Gaussian curve, or normal distribution. It is based on the premise that the results of measuring a characteristic in the largest part of the population will be organized around an average value. Those who do not fall into that central part of the distribution constitute the "uncontrolled" minority (those who have high or low scores on the investigated value, ie trait). The play asks the question whether those parts of the community are not exactly the ones who introduce the "disturbance of the average" - that is, life.Guilt for Gauss is the process of decomposing our understanding of social phenomena where extreme and average values are treated as equally referential, where the individual is placed next to the general, where the integrity of the picture (no matter how imperfect it may be) stands right next to the precise description of the parts, where beauty is impossible without an appreciation of pain... The performance was performed not only in Serbia, but also in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
