Graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, and from the Faculty of Physical Culture in Novi Sad in the group for modern and jazz dance in the class of Ljiljana Mišić. She is developing as an artist through work with Torger Vetal (Odin Theatre), Yoshi Oida, Ren Mirecko, Caroline Karlsson, Katzuro Khan, Shira Diamond, Deborah Hunt and many others. Member and soloist of the Belgrade Contemporary Ballet of Smiljane Mandukić in the period from 1982-1991, member of the MIMART movement theater and the Belgrade Dance Theater troupe. Co-founder, choreographer and dance teacher of the Center for Artistic Dance and the Center for Movement and Dance. From 1993 to 2014, she was part of the artistic and organizational core of the DAH Theatre, the theater troupe and the DAH Theater Center for Theater Research, where she was active as an actress, choreographer and program director, and within which, as an author, co-author and part of the team, she developed a large number of artistic and socially engaged projects and Festivals. With Boris Čakširan she is the co-author of the dance performance by players with and without disabilities "Blame for Gauss" (BODY FRAME, Group "Let's...").

In 2017, she launched the "Days of Smiljane Mandukić" festival and project, dedicated to the preservation and archiving of intangible dance heritage as support for the youngest and oldest choreographers and dancers in our country. Some of her most significant author's projects are "Smiljana Mandukić-essay in movement", "Telo pamti" documentary dance performance, "Slivers", with dancers aged 18-95, "Vretenje", "Daikon-essay in movement about the dancer's body" (DOPODO project), the musical "Words of Stone", "Mothers", "About S(A)VESTI-essay in movement about Dada Vujasinović", "Farewell", "Borrowed Memories" (NETMEM project), "Bread and Blood Stories", "Sisters in Arms" the first New Zealand Serbian co-production, "Welcome" and many others.

She holds workshops and plays shows all over the world. She is the president of the International Association for Theater and Drama in Education - IDEA, and the president of CEDEUM.
