I called this my first contemporary ballet Pastels, and it consists of several images in which a different mood is present. But all those images make a logical whole and express a cheerful and "pastel" mood. In the ballet I tried to show elements and movements of contemporary ballet, which is a kind of light and mobile dance, with soft body movements. My goal was to convey to our audience current trends in contemporary ballet, which have been cultivated in the world for a long time, especially in France.
The action: the ballet consists of three sequences. Each sequence begins with a group of people who are at the scene of the event, which is a closed space: A SPACE WITH ENTRY, BUT WITHOUT EXIT. This space does not have to be just the closed room, as it is presented in the ballet, this space can be much larger, it can even be considered that it can be our entire planet. The only way out of this closed space for these people is to continue to circulate in it.
The ballet uses the music of one, one can now freely say, of one of the classics of contemporary music of the twentieth century. It is Alfred Schnittke and his Concerto Grosso Numero 1.
