A Noise in Motion is an interdisciplinary installation project that explores emotions through the dynamics of movement and examines movement as a fundamental human need.

The project originated in 2020 during the artist's studies at the Faculty of Applied Arts, initially taking the form of a textile and spatial installation under the mentorship of Professor Leonora Vekić. Transparent layers of material carried projections of dance video recordings, creating the illusion of multiplied bodies and fragmented movement — a visual reflection of emotional complexity and inner noise.

Over the years, the project has evolved through various forms. From its initial installation format, it developed into a choreographic miniature, presented at the Dani Smiljane Mandukić festival in 2021.

In 2025, as part of the Moving Balkans festival, under the slogan “Dance Is All Around Us, Where Are We?”, the project returned to its installation format, evolving into an interactive multimedia environment. It brings together video documentation of the dance research process, painted textiles, and portrait photographs which, despite their stillness and apparent lack of movement, carry traces of motion and bodily presence, alongside an interactive element involving the audience.

Through audience participation, the work continues to evolve into a small-scale research project that explores how each of us experiences and perceives movement.
