Gordana Dean Pop-Hristova is a Macedonian choreographer and professor of contemporary dance. She was born on September 28, 1960, in Novi Sad, Serbia. She began her education in the field of classical ballet but later turned her focus toward contemporary and modern dance.
Throughout her career, she has worked as a dancer, choreographer, and educator. In Novi Sad, she managed her own dance studio, where she developed her artistic work. Later, she met the Macedonian actor and composer Kiril Pop Hristov, whom she married, and she moved to Macedonia.
After moving to Skopje, Gordana Dean Pop-Hristova founded the ballet group Rebis, with which she achieved significant success and contributed to the development and popularization of contemporary dance in Macedonia.
Her work focuses on combining classical ballet techniques with contemporary dance expressions, and through her educational activities, she has influenced the development of young dancers and artists. She is recognized as one of the figures who contributed to the promotion and affirmation of contemporary dance on the Macedonian cultural scene.
