The Attic is a contemporary production that reflects the present day and the realities unfolding within our own environment. At the center of the performance is a family that constantly changes its place of residence, always leaving somewhere behind, yet without a clear indication of whether they are abandoning their own city or preparing to arrive in it.
In fact, this concept is connected to an intriguing idea: until now, people have always left Macedonia, whereas with the current political situation, for the first time, someone is fleeing toward Macedonia.
The entire performance unfolds to music that is deeply intimate, infused with elements of folk and rock, within a scenography based primarily on lighting effects and complemented by thoughtfully conceived costumes.
