Stojan Simić is a member of the cultural and artistic society of the deaf in Belgrade "Radivoj Popović", in which he has been engaged in folklore, modern games, pantomime since he was a child. A tailor, a professional contemporary dancer, an educator, and above all an active promoter of Deaf culture and sign language. He participated in numerous dance performances with groups: Hajde da..., Erg status, Bitef Dance Company, etc., in all performances of the "Behind the Sign" project, in dance and experimental films. He is the protagonist of the short documentary film "Jedini". He is the leader of dance workshops and choreographer of dance performances within the KUDGB "Radivoj Popović". He is the winner of the special award of the Association of Ballet Artists of Serbia. His focus is on empowering deaf and hard of hearing people to become more actively involved in the creation of artistic content through dance and theater.
